IxDA Stavanger presents Exclusive Screening of Award-Winning Documentary at KINOKINO.

‘GENERAL MAGIC’, winner of Seven Best Documentary Awards, is the story of one of history’s greatest tech teams and the most influential Silicon Valley company no one has ever heard of.

Spun out from Apple in 1990 to create the ‘next big thing’, a secretive Silicon Valley start-up called General Magic shipped the first handheld personal communicator in 1994. Combining rare archival footage and featuring legendary members of the original Macintosh team, along with the creators of the iPod, iPhone, Android, and eBay. General Magic is the untold tale of how a great vision and an epic failure changed the world, and has influenced the design of products that we love and use today.
