Foajélørdag – Flute Poetic

Sandnes er en kommune med stort kunstnerisk mangfold og mange dyktige utøvere uten kjendisstatus. På foajélørdager møter du et utvalg knippe profesjonelle artister fra forskjellige sjangre, som du kanskje kjenner til fra før.Denne lørdagen kan du oppleve konsertprosjekt skapt av den profesjonelle fløytisten Laura Lovišková

Dette er et unikt musikalsk konsertprosjekt skapt av den profesjonelle fløytisten Laura Lovišková, basert på både tradisjonelle og moderne perler fra fløyterepertoaret. Flute Poetic forteller historier fra ulike århundrer. Det kunstneriske konseptet rommer et mangfold av stilarter og har åpnet døren for nye samarbeid mellom musikere og fargerike kombinasjoner av instrumenter.
For konsertserien Foajélørdager har vi valgt å presentere musikalske verk skrevet for to fløyter og piano. Konsertrepertoaret omfatter et bredt spekter av stilarter, blant annet klassisk musikk, groovy jazz, rytmisk latinamerikansk musikk, ungarsk tradisjonell folkemusikk, dramatiske operamelodier samt lyrisk og uttrykksfull filmmusikk.

Biography:

Laura Lovišková is a professional flutist from Slovakia based in Norway. She graduated at The Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, while she also took one year via Erasmusplus at the Iceland University of the Arts with prof. Martial Nardeau. She continued with her studies with Vidar Austvik at the University of Stavanger (Master diploma, Pdm / Post-gradual study program and Extension studies in the music performance / piccolo and chamber music). During her studies she played as a soloist with several orchestras as the State Philharmonic Košice, The Bratislava Chamber orchestra, The Chamber orchestra of The Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. She won the 1st prize of the Skjeies Kammermusikk stipend as well as the Bjønnes stipend 2022. Laura has been a member of several contemporary and classical ensembles, f.e. Asynchronie Ensemble, Veni Academy, Musica Falsa et Ficta, Jana Bezek ensemble, Katarína Máliková & ensemble, The Rogaland Sinfonietta, Ecetera band, Estuary Ensemble. In November 2023 she got the 2nd prize at Franz Schubert Interna-tional Competition in Rousse (BL) / category - chamber music. In October 2024 she got to the 2nd round (category of chamber music) with a performance of Lowel Lieberman’s Sonata for flute and piano at the 22th Chieri International Competition (Italy). She is also a founder, composer and a pianist of Ecetera band. Together with her sister Izabela Maroun, she creates musical compositions in a neoclassical / minimal / progressive rock genre. Currently she works as a flute and piano teacher at the Sola Kulturskole. She is a flutist of the Estuary Ensemble and a substitute flutist of the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra. She is a freelancer in Rogaland.

Svitlana Ivanova is a professional flutist from Ukraine, based in Norway. In 1998-2003 she was studying at the UNTAM, The Ukrainian National Tchaikovsky Academy of Music. After her studies she was a flutist at The National House of Organ and Chamber Music of Ukraine; The National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre (as a flutist and piccoloist) or as a permanent participant in the Kiev Klassik project led by UNESCO. She was performing in many European countries as well as in China, Japan or Middle East countries. She lives in Stavanger and she works as a flute teacher at the Time Kulturskole. She is a freelancer in Rogaland.

Elias Mursula is a professional pianist from Finland, based in Norway. He holds his bachelor degree in piano playing from Turku Taideakatemia and his master degree and post-graduate diploma from the University of Stavanger. In 2016 he was doing his exchange study program at The Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, Slovakia and he was studying under Slovak pianist Jordana Palovicová. He was performing as a soloist in Finland, Norway, Slovakia and Czech Republic. In 2022 he won the 1st prize at UiS kammermusikk konkurransen / The Skjeies Kammermusikk stipend.
In November 2023 he got the 2nd prize at Franz Schubert International Competition in Rousse (BL) / category - chamber music.
